Reason Dell used on the (freakin') long delay

After bombarded the customer care with emails, they used the reason: there are global shortage of LCD screen...

This is the true message:
I regret that currently there is a global, industry-wide shortage for LCD screens that cuts across all display sizes and is affecting delivery to customers. This is why we could not deliver the order within the normal lead time which is 5-7 working days. The date provided is an estimation and we really do hope it could be fulfilled within the stated time frame.

Any inconvenience caused is very much regretted.

A global shortage? I was like... WTH?! SWT~!

Dell delivery system disappointed me

I ordered a laptop on 23 July.
The estimated time of delivery is 30 July at first, which is 6 business day.

Dell term states that they'll be delivering the laptop between 5 till 8 business days.

Then for no reason, they changed the estimated delivery to 13 AUGUST!!
WHAT THE @#$%!!!

If I want to sue them I think this is a valid reason since they already state that the'll deliver within 5 till 8 days.

And the laptop is needed urgently as i need it to do my university works.

Are there some people experience the same thing before?

Streamyx Down!! Will not update the post that frequent.

For some unknown reason, the SHI*** Malaysian broadband, aka streamyx broke down for some reason. Some of my other friends experience the same problem in the mean time. The lesson we learn from this incident is: Bombard the streamyx phone admin as much as possible to show our fury until they get fed up and start improving their systems. So in the mean time, lets bombard the administrator now when we still have the chance to do so!!

Shiphire's Tips to ISOLATE bad things from your pc!

There are some trustworthy softwares that could be good use for 'onliners'.

One of the anti adware programs i used is spybot-Search & Destroy.
The tea timer software bundled with it is a very good anti adware, since it monitors your system all time long.

When there is some changes to your system, for example you changed your system startup or something, they will pop up a window, asking you whether it's your decision or is it made without your knowledge.

If it's not your decision or you suspect it's something nasty(such as adwares) you can choose to reject it at the time or you can reject them for life by blacklisting it.
